Richard G. Voshell, Jr., 64, of Fernandina Beach passed away Saturday, May 11, 2024.

Mr. Voshell was born in Chelsea, MA and was the son of Richard G. Voshell and the late Carol Durant Voshell.

Richard spent most of his working life in the construction trades. He loved being outdoors and when he could, riding his bicycle. He had a knack for being able to work on nearly anything, always finding a way to fix whatever he was working on. In addition to his love of the outdoors Richard was a huge fan of NASCAR and the Florida Gators.

He leaves behind his wife of 46 years, Virginia Voshell; his daughters, Katherine Voshell and Kimberly (Chance Deleslie); his father and step-mother, Richard and Patti Voshell; his sisters, Margaret Voshell-Beich and Audrey Voshell-Green; his grandchildren, Chelsea, Austin, Brantley and Esme as well as his best friend, Paul Hessler.

A service to remember Richard will be held Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Fernandina Beach Church of Christ.
