Condolences:

Sue K Simpson

Kelly was a "Coffee Mate". I often meet the group of ladies who sit together for breakfast at Osprey Village. She was always a delight. Kind, inquisitive and attentive. She is truely missed. God Bless her family. And God bless Kelly

Irene Hambrock

I met Kelly in 2022. Kelly was a delightful woman who always greeted me with a smile. Kelly will be missed.

Kelly was a lovely and kind woman. The world is better because she was in it.

Grace "Kelly" A. Wigdale

2025-02-06

Grace “Kelly” A. Wigdale, age 93 passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025.

Kelly was born on March 4, 1931 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and grew up on the west side of the city. While working at Capital Airlines she met her future husband Norman C. Wigdale while walking down Wisconsin Ave. with friends. They married on December 31, 1958 at Fox Point Lutheran Church.

Kelly and Norm raised their four children in Mequon, WI before retiring full time to their dream home on Amelia Island, Fl. Kelly loved art, fashion and was an avid painter. She loved to read and murder mysteries were her favorite. She was a collector of antique furniture and their fall trips to New England would always bring home a new piece for mom to find a place for. Even after their retirement in Florida, Kelly always enjoyed having a part time job focused around fashion, art and antiques.

In her later years she enjoyed her weekly bridge groups, volunteering at the local community art center and the local hospital.

Kelly leaves behind her children: Kristan (Corey) Chambas, Amy (David) Sitter, Brad (Susan) Wigdale and her grandchildren: Matthew, Allyson, Molly, Cabell, Jack, Sam, Alexandra and Evelyn, and great grandchildren: Ryder, Maisy and Fitz. She is predeceased by her husband, Norm and daughter, Kathleen.

“Grandma Dale” will be remembered for her love of all her dogs, especially “Meadow”, decorating the house for Christmas, her art room, chocolate shakes and pizza at The Loop and having her grandchildren enjoy being with her at Amelia.
