God knows - did she ever love dancing! And what a treat it was for me - to dance with her! May God comfort her entire family and loved ones!

We have only the most fabulous memories of Aunt Glorianne, her zest for life and vibrant personality are forever in our hearts. So glad we were able to see her whenever we were in the same state, catch up on the occasional phone call and blessed to call her my godmother. We are positive that she is in heaven dancing with Uncle Donnie, planning their next adventure and searching for the best happy hour. Love you and will miss you Aunt Glor. Sincerest condolences to Jackie & Alyssa your Mom loved you girls and was happy for every moment she spent with you. May god comfort you and give you peace today and always. Love you.

Glorianne (DeAngelo) Parisi passed away Thursday evening, March 3, 2022.
Born in Hoboken, New Jersey to the late Mario and Patricia DeAngelo, she graduated high school and continued her formal education at Jersey City State College, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree. There, she met the love of her life, Dominick Parisi. After graduating college, they married and after 2 years had their first child Jacqueline. Four years later, they welcomed their daughter Alyssa.
Glorianne was a successful businesswoman and helped turn her parent’s single mom and pop flower store into a thriving business with 3 locations in Hudson County, NJ.
Glorianne then retired and spent the following years traveling, cruising, and living life with her beloved Dominick, friends, and family. Together, they moved to Fernandina Beach in 2019. After he passed in November of 2020, she decided to stay here and make Fernandina her home.
Glorianne was a member of the Newcomers Club, the Bartram Club and many other local groups. She loved music, especially opera, art, and dance, recently taking lessons at the local studio. She was smart, vibrant and a lover of life. Nothing gave her more joy than being with her friends and family, sharing a drink and a laugh, and dancing.
Glorianne is survived by her daughter Jacqueline and her husband Edward, her daughter Alyssa and her partner Phil, her brothers Robert, William, and John, his wife Mary, and their 3 children, Ann Marie, John, and Gina, who she spoiled as her “grandchildren.” She leaves behind many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be on Monday, March 7, 2022, at Oxley-Heard Funeral Directors beginning at 2:00PM and with the service to follow.
