Daryll Eugene Stevens

Daryll Eugene Stevens 77 of Yulee, FL passed away on May 5, 2023 at Baptist Jacksonville hospital.

Born on April 2, 1946 in Herrin, IL to (the late) Pal C. and Gladys (Barnes) Stevens. He grew up in
Herrin, IL and he enlisted in the United States Navy after high school. He later married Kathy (East)
and welcomed their daughter Shelly (Walton). After a few years they were divorced and he later remarried Debra(Sexton) and welcomed her son Randy(Tackett). They later welcomed sons Daryll
Jason and Justin into their home. They were married 50 years.

He was a professional truck driver for over forty years. He logged many miles across the country. He
often enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle and listening to his sons play music. He was a passionate
man who genuinely loved playing with his grandchildren.

He leaves behind his wife Debra of 50 years, daughter Shelly (Richard), sons Randy Tackett (Carrie),
Daryll Jason, and Justin (Kimberly) as well as his grand and great grandchildren Hope, Kaylynn, Amelia, Nash, Kinsley, Faith, Adriana, and Jack.

Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2023 beginning at 11:30 AM at Jacksonville National Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with military honors.
